Rimkus Building Consultants combines extensive expertise in building design, construction, operations and maintenance to serve our clients’ needs. Drawing from our team’s varied industry backgrounds, significant experience at Rimkus Consulting Group and more than 30 years of forensic investigation experience, we effectively deal with issues across the entire range of built environments from building envelopes and structural systems to roadways, bridges and electrical systems. Throughout each assignment, we combine comprehensive engineering skills and innovative thinking to proactively help mitigate risks and defects and maximize facility life cycles.
Daniel Isackson, a registered professional architect, is the Practice Area Leader of the Rimkus Building Consultants Building Sciences Division. He has extensive experience in all phases of architecture, including design, construction documents, specifications, and contract/construction administration. Mr. Isackson’s experience incorporates a broad range of skills including design, code analysis, project management, programming, site development, and cost estimating. He also has experience with building code compliance and life safety analysis, accessibility standards, and property condition assessments. He is responsible for being the designer of record, providing third-party design reviews, developing quality control procedures for contractors to implement, performing quality assurance observations, and performing field performance tests to verify installed systems. He also provides restoration/rehabilitation design services for existing buildings, property condition assessments, and forensic investigations. Mr. Isackson earned Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design degrees from the University of Minnesota.
